Isu Hangat: Recent Car Hijacking-Plse read

Dear Loved Ones & Great Friends,

Early this morning at 12.20 am, I received a phone call from my 2nd
daughter, Carol , to say that her husband's car had just been
hijacked. It happened along the LDP Highway on the Govt Secondary
School side in Damansara Utama (DU), ie. opposite Maybank.

Her husband, Darian, was driving his 6 week new Honda Accord on the
fast lane of LDP. Suddenly, at about 11.40 pm he was knocked from
behind by a Proton Perdana with 2 persons inside. As this car
signalled left to stop by the road side, Darian also signaled left
and stopped too. As he got out of his car, the passenger from
Perdana also got out to see the damage and about to discuss.
Suddenly another car came out of nowhere and stopped in front of
Darian's car, as if to block his way. Four young indians came out
and 1 of them held a knife at Darian's neck. The other indian said,
"kunchi mari" (hand over your keys). So Darian had no choice but to
surrender his car keys and within seconds, they all disappeared
with his car. So his notebook, some personal documents and house
keys disappeared too.

Earlier Darian was returning from his friend's home in Damansara
Perdana (after Tesco) on his way home in Kelana Jaya. After this
accident, he called this friend to inform him. Since he knew where
the Police Station in DU was, he walked there (about 200 meters
away) to make his report. About 20 minutes later, a well known
politician ( Datuk Lee Hwa Beng) in Subang Jaya also came in with his wife

to make a police report. He reported that his Honda Accord was
knocked by a mercedes and hijacked at Tropicana area.

It has also been reported that there is a syndicate specialising in
robbing new expensive cars. They just wanted the cars for whatever
reason better known to them.

On hind sight, it was just so unusual that any one would want to
knock him on the fast lane, ie. the right hand side since it was
not raining and no jam in the middle of the night. Then, instead of
the driver of the offending car coming out to check the damage and
negotiate the accident, it was the passenger that came out. As it
was his first time in such a shocking accident and also his
precious new car poor Darian was in a daze and couldn't even
remember the car number of the offending car after starring at it.
Everything was just so surprising and just happened so fast.

However, in spite of what happened, we just want to thank our good
Lord for his protection over Darian, in that he was not harmed.
Indeed his life was spared and also an unknown amount of medical
expenses if it had turned out to be otherwise. The moral of the
accident is, "no point being a dead hero". We earnestly seek your
intercession for wisdom and intelligence for the police to recover
the stolen cars and apprehend these criminals as soon as possible
before others fall victims too.

So dear friends, please be beware & aware of such freak and
intentional accidents. The advice is to DRIVE TO THE NEAREST POLICE
STATION,PETROL KIOSK or MAMAK STALL where there are still plenty
of people around and seek help.DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR CAR TO CHECK
THE DAMAGE.
We are living in evil days and we really need to be wise about going
anywhere and every where; ie. necessary or not and not alone. Worse still,
should this happen to
a lady, a wife, a sister or a daughter the worse case is unknown
and unpredictable.

This is a true incident, just hot from the oven. There is a police
report to prove this case, not "not play-play wan".

Please be alert & take care! The bottom line is our lives are more
important than the things of this world.

Ladies,if you are alone in your car it would not be a bad idea to key in a
telephone number in your hand-phone for instant contact.
